All levels welcome to this two day workshop

She is a member of the International Advisory Board 'HeART Cloth Quarterly' magazine. Marie-Therese has participated in exhibitions including 'ArtCloth 2004: Committed to Cloth' in England, 'Kaunas International Art Biennial Textile 05', Lithuania, and 'feminine feminist female', USA. Her work is held in numerous international and national collections, both private and public.
This two day workshop is an introduction to the dye sublimation process (transfer printing). It is a fun and exciting class where students create their own custom dyed fabric using disperse dyes via direct imaging, experimentation and layering exercises. We create painted, textured, printed imagery onto papers with disperse dyes and then transfer print them to polyester and blended fabrics to create a suite of color and pattern studies via an iron or heat press. With these new skills, you will be able to collage, layer, appliqué, hand and machine embellish your newly made fabrics into truly unique creative expressions.
