ATASDA Queensland Branch MEETINGS for 2008 will be held at FIBRECRAFT HOUSE, Auchenflower, home to the Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists Inc.

A Meeting Fee of $2.00 has been introduced for the Social and Quarterly Meetings, to help cover management costs and funds for organised activities.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: BCC Bus 471 (see www.translink.com.au) stops in Haig Rd adjacent to the intersection of Payne Street. Leaves Ann St (stop 7), returning to Adelaide St (stop 26). Buses run more frequently along Milton Road.

PRIVATE VEHICLE: From the city (along Milton Road): right turn (after Brewery at the traffic lights) from Milton Road into Baroona Road then left (next set of traffic lights) into Haig Road. Continue through roundabout (big tree) to intersection of Payne Street (shops on right) and turn right. Fibrecraft House is on the left.

CAR PARKING: There is ample street parking in Payne Street, Haig Road and adjoining streets, if necessary.

VENUE ACCESS: Entry via steps or ramp.

REFRESHMENTS at Social and Quarterly Meetings

ATASDA coffee, tea, milk and sugar will be available (no charge). Crockery (mugs and cups) and cutlery is also available for members use. Members are asked to bring a small plate of food suitable for morning or afternoon tea to Social and/or Quarterly Meetings. Members planning to attend for a full day (10.30am-4.00pm) will need to BYO lunch.

Fibrecraft House is situated about 5 minutes drive from the main Milton Shopping Area and the Park Road (Milton) and Nash Street (Rosalie) restaurant precincts. These areas have several places where food and drink can be purchased.
