A workshop with Liz Maidment?
Liz is visiting Australia and has offered to do a workshop for us. WHEN? October 11th - 12th 2008 (tentative dates)
This 2-day workshop is designed to enable students to create a work of art in fabric, thread and paint. You will be looking at any one or combination of the following subjects:- aspects of the garden/ landscape/ trees/ pots and vases of flowers. The methods used will be spray and hand painting, tiny appplications of material, hand and machine embroidery.

ATASDA members residing in Queensland have an opportunity to take part in this exhibition at the Robina Art Gallery.
New Venue and Meeting Days
Quarterly Meeting 14 June. Guest speaker: Adele Outteridge, paper and book artist
In 2008 ATASDA Queensland will have its meetings at Fibrecraft House in Auchenflower. This venue is home to the Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists Inc, so we will be amongst a range of textile related groups who use this venue as their meeting place.
The second Saturday of each month has been allocated to our group, so check the calendar and update your diaries.
