Rainbow Dreaming
The Challenge
For our last meeting of the 2011 year, we challenge you to produce a hat, headpiece or mask taking inspiration from the following text…
The true colors of the rainbow are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. A rainbow is composed of the colors of the visible light spectrum and those colors always appear in the same order or pattern within the rainbow. Many of us will remember this rhyme from our childhood -
Red and yellow and pink and green
Purple and orange and blue
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.
Show us your rainbow at the Christmas meeting and perhaps win a book voucher. Any materials and technique/s may be used for this challenge – there are no restrictions.
