Out of the Blue - Call for Entries

There are two parts to Out of the Blue - a collaborative charm swap and the exhibition.
The charm swap is well underway, with 54 textile artists collaborating in groups in a creative journey.
The exhibition is an opportunity for ATASDA members from across Australia to exhibit at the magnificent venue of the Palm House Gallery, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.

Formed by a diverse range of textile and fibre artists, the Fibre Alchemists group grew out of a desire by like-minded artists to work in a supportive, creative atmosphere. One that would nurture ideas, skills and talents that would benefit all those involved. Since the inception in February 2007 they have created many and varied artworks and been challenged in many different ways.
Alchemy... from the ordinary into the extraordinary is the first major exhibition by Fibre Alchemists. This collaborative group exhibition is widely anticipated following a smaller showing last year of some of the works of Fibre Alchemists.
