ATASDA provides practising textile artists, both amateur and professional, and all textile lovers across Australia with information, education, exhibiting, social and other textile-related opportunities.
Our membership currently exceeds 500 throughout Australia, and we have branches in New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland, as well as an active group in Victoria.
ATASDA provides members with many benefits including the opportunity to learn new techniques through workshops with tutors sourced both nationally and internationally, and the ability to improve the profile of members through exhibition opportunities and collaborative projects.
Our quarterly magazine is packed with information, upcoming workshop and exhibition details, member profiles and tips and techniques that are ready for you to try. To find out more about fibreline, click here.
fibrenet is our members-only forum enabling communication, support and collaboration between our members, where-ever they reside. For more information about fibrenet, click here.
The ATASDA library features an ever-growing range of textile books and periodicals, as well as Association archives. Funded by membership fees and generous donations from members both past and present, the library is a great way to research your favourite textile artists and feed your creativity.
