ATASDA's library is a growing resource, which we have developed to allow the books, magazines and periodicals to be available to all members across the country, regardless of their proximity to branches or regional groups.

This is because our library resources can be lent and returned using registered Australia Post, via a simple request to our This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Many of our books are no longer in print, are difficult and/or expensive to buy, and are not readily available through the public library system. This means that members can gain information about techniques and artists that they wouldn't normally have the opportunity to see and learn from.

ATASDA also has subscriptions to many magazines published in Australia as well as the UK and America, allowing members to "try" before they subscribe.

How to Borrow

The ATASDA Library is open to all ATASDA members across Australia.

Once you've had a look through the catalogue (PDF download above) and noted the books and magazines you'd like to borrow, simply send an email through our This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Make sure you note the title and author/edition clearly, as well as your full name and postal address, and contact phone number.

We'll be in touch with you to let you know when the books/magazines will be sent out to you, and for how long you may borrow them. ATASDA will send the items to you via registered Australia Post.

Once it's time to return the books, all you need to do is send them back to ATASDA via registered Australia Post, making sure you package them for safe transit. Simple!
