NSW Branch Grants - Round 1. Important Dates for Applications 2018.

  •  Open: Monday 1 January, 2018
  •  Close: Wednesday 28 February, 2018
  •  Notified: Saturday 31 March, 2018.

The Grants for Education Committee with the support of NSW Branch Committee announces the following to eligible members:

3 x $400 – Skills Development Grants to individual members 

1 x $1000 – Professional Development Grant 

1 x $200 – On-Line Study Grant 

1 x $600 – Regional Group Grant

Skills Development Grant

 
Skills Development Grant is open to all NSW Branch members through NSW Grants for Education Committee (GEC).

This will enable ‘YOU’ as a NSW Branch member to attend a course or forum or apply for seed funding to develop an aspect your textile practice. The Grant can be applied for as an individual or a number of Branch members may apply with a common goal in mind. The Grant is awarded to give a member or members of ATASDA NSW Branch an opportunity to develop skills in an area of interest.

Eligibility: NSW Members must have held NSW Branch membership for 18 months to be eligible to apply for a Skills Development Grant.

Professional Development Grant

The Professional Development Grant is open to all NSW Branch members through NSW Grants for Education Committee (GEC).

The Professional Development Grant (valued at $1000) is awarded annually for the special use of a member/s for exhibition, specialised training course, etc. It is only allocated once in a year.
          

On-Line Study Grant

A On-Line Study Grant (valued at $200) is available to give members an opportunity to develop skills in an area of interest via courses accessed online. It is open to all NSW Branch members through NSW Grants for Education Committee (GEC). All applicants must be current financial members of ATASDA NSW Branch and also must have held membership for a minimum of 18 months.

Regional Development Grant

A Regional Grant is only available to members living outside the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area, but within the state of NSW. All applicants must be current financial members of ATASDA NSW Branch and also must have held membership for a minimum of 18 months.

Email applications will be accepted. 

ATASDA NSW Branch Committee will make its decision based upon the recommendation of the GEC.

ATASDA NSW Branch Committee reserves the right not to award any Grant/s in any one year. The decision of ATASDA NSW Branch Committee will be final. Successful applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of closing dates.
