Building on the success of the visual cohesiveness of artworks and continuity created by the colour and tones of from the earth, ATASDA members were invited to respond to Out of the Blue.

Inspired by well-known artworks, 27 members have created these captivating textiles.
The pieces are mounted with a photograph of the original artwork plus detailed notes on materials and construction techniques, to provide a rich educational and inspirational tool.
Artrageous is looking for MORE travel plans. If you would like the display to visit a venue near you contact Robyn Scott. Suitable venues could include schools, institutions, museums, council art & crafts centres.

An exploration of crystals, bones, fossils, stalactites, stalagmites, earth formations, natural events such as volcanic eruptions, and folklore incorporating seasonal changes stimulated ATASDA's member artists. A beautiful exhibition with continuity created by colour and tones from the earth.

A very simple theme with huge potential. Members were inspired by the graphics and line within the Palm House structure.
Music in the Pack
Craft & Quilt Fair, Darling Harbour and other venues
2006 - 2007
Music in the Pack was a challenge co-ordinated by Diane Groenewegen.
Members created musical CD artwork, based on plastic CD packs containing wonderful and unique materials from Diane's studio. The different musical themes include classical music, folk music, rhythm & blues, ambience music, rock 'n' roll, musicals, pop music, world music, jazz, techno, and country and western music.
Initally displayed at the Craft & Quilt Fair, Darling Harbour, the works later travelled to a number of venues in Australia
Up Over Down Under
Fountain Court Gallery, NSW Parliament House, Sydney
2 - 31 August 2006
Up Over Down Under was a joint exhibition with the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh, and was also shown at the prestigious Pittsburgh Centre for the Arts.
The Australian works later travelled to a number of venues in Australia
