STOP PRESS!

Bugs & Botanica

Choose your own collaborative group! Any member and 3 (ATASDA) friends (4 in total) can work as a group to create their own exotica vines. Each member MUST register with the exhibition committee by 26 November, (send in the Entry Form to receive the extra information) and should list their group members names, so we can keep track. By signing the entry form you will be agreeing to the requirements.

The ATASDA National committee invites all members to participate in this 35th anniversary exhibition, which allows the opportunity to exhibit artworks nationally in Perth (13-17 May), Sydney (10-14 June), Hobart (26-28 June), Melbourne (23-26 July), Canberra (6-9 August), Brisbane (21-25 October) & Adelaide (5-8 November) as part of the Expertise Events 2009 Craft & Quilt Fairs.

The exhibition title EXOTICA brings to mind a range of unusual & interesting ideas, based on the concept (artworks within the theme). Three (3) separate opportunities (Bugs & Botanica, Cartouche and Masks, Hats & Headdresses) are available for ATASDA members to create exciting & original artwork(s), drawing from an extensive range of materials and techniques, experimenting and exploring, while creating flamboyant, frivolous, vibrant, eye-catching, colourful and exotic artworks uniquely inspired by their creators.
